I'm still looking for any information on Matti Erik Lamminaho, b. March 14th, 1904 in Sääminki, Finland. The subsequent records give his birth year as 1905.
His family name was originally Falck and his parents were: August Falck and Henrika Mohell.

In the 1920's he worked as a office worker in Viipuri (Viborg). He changed his last name to Lamminaho in 1926. On June 12th, 1929, he left Finland for Canada. He arrived in Quebec on Andania on June 29th, 1929. He was single, a "farmer in Finland", and intending to be a farmer also in Canada.

His destination is given as Rev. F. Pennanen at the Finnish Immigrant Home, Montreal. I know that the records of FIH exist in the National Archives of Canada and that they often contain good information on the boarders. Could anyone help in suggesting whom to contact for research help?

Any information would be great!
Thank you,
