Clara was the daughter of Orrelious A. Hering by his second wife, Merina "Minnie" (Derr) Cuddy.
She married William Arthur Eliason in June of 1929, in Omaha, Douglas, Nebraska; (License No.6999).
They made their home in the Omaha and Council Bluffs area until they moved to Portland, Oregon about 1939.
Clara and Bill divorced 1947.
In 1945 Clara purchased a Clothing Store in Roseburg, Oregon, and soon after, a store in Grant's Pass, Oregon. In May 1946 she sold the Roseburg store and moved to Grant's Pass to manage that store. This is the last mention of her that the manager of her memorial can find of her.

The 1940 census shows the boys as lodgers so it appears there was no relationship to the couple. Their father Arthur also lived in Omaha, Nebraska with his parents and other family members.

Raymond married his second wife Naomia Katherine Rose (Earl) on December 3, 1985 in Laclede, Missouri. Naomia was Raymond's second wife and Raymond was Naomi's 4th husband. They were both divorced from their previous spouses. Naomia was born December 27, 1942 in Kentucky.
Raymond served in the Navy from October 3, 1956 to September 23, 1960.

Martha married Raymond Otto Hering on August 14, 1935. They had three children; Virginia Marie, Richard Ray and Roger Alfred. They divorced on January 25, 1949.
On March 7, 1954 Martha married her second husband William Leroy "Roy" Morford. They had a daughter, Sandra Kay. Roy's divorce from his first wife Polly was not final making their marriage void. Roy and Martha remarried August 1959 and divorced October 1959.
On October 14, 1961 Martha married Cecil Fletcher. Cecil passed away in 1976.

The 1940 census shows Orville, age 23 and his wife Wilma, age 22 living at 2713 Liberty Boulevard in San Antonio, Los Angeles County, California. His mother-in-law Agnes Bueling, age 45 was also a member of the household. Orville worked as a cook in a restaurant. Wilma and Agnes worked as housekeepers in a private home.
The 1950 census shows Orville A., age 33 living on a farm in Yoncalla, Douglas, Oregon with wife Edna M., age 27 and son Larry G., age 1. Orville's occupation was Edgerman in the Lumber Mill industry.
During World War II, Orville was in the Marine Corp and hand carried messages from front to front. He spent time in Iwo Jima.
Children: Larry G. Hering, Sandra Hering.
Orville's wish was to have his ashes spread over the Pacific Ocean.
