Hi Nevin!
I don't know the family, but just made a quick check:
When Nils dies, it is mentioned that his father is Anders Jönssön and mother Malin Nilsdotter. I' did not check the originas - just Hiski http://hiski.genealogia.fi/hiski?en+t503619

When his wife Malin dies the same source tells that her father is Johan Eliasson and mother Margeta Andersdotter.

Nils is the owner of the Heikurainen house at least from 1724 in Pirkkiö willage. Befor him, the owner is Johan Eliasson - most likely the father in law to Nils. This Johan dies in 1756. His father is Elias and mother Charin Nilsdotter.

I don't know where Nils Andersson comes from nor where Johan Eliasson was born.

Best regards
Pekka

Thank you for the help. I did have Anders Jönssön as the father, and this is now who I am most curious about. The information I have is that he was born in 1670 - Tuvan, Skelleftea, Vasterbottens, Sweden.

Are there any sources you know of that could help me with this research? Most information I have is from other family trees. Thank you! :)

I also have a hint that he may have died 26 May 1741.

No, I do not have that information. :( I cannot find any information that says that Anders Jonsson had a son named Nils, other than the death record that you found. My information comes from family trees done by other people.

It could be the spelling that is not giving me answers.

Some background, which you probably know.

Name Heikurainen is the name of the House in Björkö / Pirkkiö. At that time the names of the people in western Finland were names of the houses. Therefor Nils Andersson most likely was not Heikurainen, before he married Malin Johansdotter from Heikurainen, meaning that Anders Jönsson was not Heikurainen.

Before 1809 Finland was a part of Sweden. The church records of Nedertorneå / Alatornio are nowadays in Finland, but the tax records in Sweden. The language border between Swedish and Finnish languages was not in the current state border river Tornio, but about 30 km west from this, near Kalix river. This means that if Anders Jönsson was from Skellefteå he spoke Swedish and people in Pirkkiö Finnish, but of course it is still possible that he has moved to Tornio from Skellefteå.

On the other hand, when I checked Hiski, I did not find Anders Jönssons death record from Alatornio, and I did not find any death or christening records of Nils Anderssons siblings (records start from 1707). Also missing is marriage of Nils Andersson and Malin Johansdotter. These all together might indicate that Nils was not originally from Alatornio.

Badly burned Skellefteå church books from 1720 are behind this link:

If Anders Jönsson was from Skellefteå, it may be possible to find Anders from this book. I checked only Tuvan with no luck.

These are my thoughts. I am having a hard time finding anything. Thank you again for the help. I will continue researching.
