Ville Andreinpoika Romanainen. (Vasilij Andreevits Romanov)
Born Dec 24th 1901 in Repola (Russian part of Karelia). Died 13 Dec 1970 in Lieksa.
I am searching for information about any brothers or sisters to Ville, as well as any information about his parents.

In Lieksa on the ortod cemetery are two stones:
-Jorma Romanainen 1930-1933
-Ville Romanainen 1901-1970
-Irja Maria Romanainen 1939-1983

-Maija Romanainen o.s. Karhunen 1896-1981
-Anastasia Romanainen o.s. Törhönen 1864-1954

yes the 1st stone we know very well. It is the one of Ville Romanainen and his wife Taimi. There are also two of the children, Jorma and Irja. This is in the cemetary in the woods.
There is also, quite near to this stone one of Unto Romanainen - who was another of their children.

I do not know the other stone? Are you saying that Aleksander and Anastasia are in the same cemetary?

Kun en hallitse hyvin englannin kieltä niin laitampa suomeksi. Toivottavasti joku kääntää tämän edelleen.

Isäni Aarne Viitasen työkaveri oli nimeltään Ville Romanainen. Isäni oli syntynyt kesäk. 1910 Lieksassa. Hän meni Lieksan Rantalan sahalle työhön elokuulla 1924. Sodan jälkeen hän oli Pankakoskella Niskan sahalla aina kesäk.1975.
Ilmeisesti Ville oli samaan aikaan samoilla sahoilla, tietenkin jäi eläkkeelle 1900 syntyneenä aiemmin kuin isäni.
Minä menin lokak. 1960 Enso-Gutzeit Oy:n Pankakosken tehtaan Niskan sahalle. Olin siellä elokuulle 1961. Ville Romanainen niminen mies oli sahalla myös samaan aikaan, kuten isänikin.
Villen hauta on Lieksassa Mähkön hautausmaalla, ortodoksien alueella. Hautausmaan eteläisestä portista sisälle (Pankakosken tieltä liittymästä n. 20-30 metriä portille). Portilta hautausmaan käytävää ehkä parikymmentä metriä ja hauta on käytävän vieressä. Kiven tiedot luettavissa käytävältä.
Että kuinka tiedän tuon, no mummoni on haudattu aika lähelle Villen hautaa ja siellä käydessäni ohitan aina Villen haudan.
