Miten etsitään sudeettisaksalaisen sotilaan alkuperä?

Osaako joku kokeneempi neuvoa, miten etsitään viime sodan aikana Suomessa olleen sudeettisaksalaisen sotilaan alkuperää? Mahdollisesti syntynyt noin 1915 Tsekissä. Sai lapsen Suomessa. Jollakin voisi olla kokemusta tällaisesta etsinnästä, sillä olihan näitä tapauksia aika paljon.

Mitä tietokantoja voisi olla käytettävissä. Onko täällä palvelleista luetteloita?

http://www.dd-wast.de/ täällä voi tehdä maksullisen etsintäpyynnön saksaksi, englanniksi tai ranskaksi. Sanovat maksun olevan useimmiten n. 20,- Euroa. Kyseessä on entinen Wehrmachtsauskunftstelle, joka perustettiin löytämään kaatuneita, kadonneita ja vangittuja. Nykyään Deutsche Dienststelle (WASt), jonka tehtävät ovat vuosien myötä laajentuneet, on Liittovaltiotason arkisto, joka antaa tietoa myös muitten entisten sotilaitten sotatiedoista, sekä antaa tietoja myös sukututkimustarkoitukseen. Kyselyn kesto voi tosin olla jopa 10 kuukautta, ruuhkista riippuen.

War children whose fathers were German soldiers or German Prisoners of War can also contact the Agency to research the history of their German fathers who were killed, are listed as missing, or are no longer traceable. In terms of numbers, there are about 500 enquiries per year from war children born in, or slightly after, World War II, with around 110 per year alone from France. Nimi ja muut tiedossa olevat tiedot pitää tietenkin antaa sotilaan tunnistamiseksi. Saatujen tulosten jälkeen täytyykin sitten jatkaa mahdollisesti Tsekeissä. Olisikohan siellä sitten keisarillisen Itävallan systeemin mukaiset henkikirjanpidot?

Itse etsin esipolviani Family Searchistä. Löysinkin muutaman sukupolven Frydlandista. Kirjat jatkuvat pitkälle 1900 luvulle.

Introduction
The State Regional Archives Litomerice is pleased to present its Vital
Records Search. The database contains complete information for all registries
contained in the current collection of “Vital Records of the North Bohemian Region.”
This collection includes church (Catholic and non-Catholic) and civil registries
created by parish and civilian authorities located in the formerly designated North
Bohemia Region, today the Liberec and Usti nad Labem regions. An exception is the
eastern portion of the Semily district, where records are held in the State Regional
Archives Zamrsk.
Registries arrive at the archive upon expiration of their maintenance period:
100 years for birth records and 75 years for marriage and death records. The
maintenance period is calculated from the date of the most recent entry to the registry,
not from its first entry.
The Vital Records Search database does not yet include all digitalized records.
Work is ongoing to make these available.

Kiitos. Pitää kokeilla tuota Arne Deckwirth'in kertomaa kyselyä, joka löytyy myös Essimin mainitseman yhdistyksen kautta.

FamilySearch-haku ei tuottanut oikein tulosta. Yksi ongelma on, että sukunimessä on n.s saksalainen y (ü ), jota tuo haku ei tunnista. Nekin mitkä löytyy, on ilman noita yläpilkkuja (siis u) ja ovat Slovakiasta, tosin kai sielläkin oli sudeettisaksalaisia?
