Malax; Eric Erickson (Fogde?); s 25.08.1865

I am seeking information about the parents and family of Eric Erickson who died in the United States in 1947. He was born in Malax on 25.08.1865, and immigrated about 1890. I believe his father was Simon Eriksson (perhaps surname Fogde) and that Eric changed his name to Erickson when he came to the U.S. I see the original Malax parish records are not yet on-line, so am hoping someone might have some other access to Eric's birth records from Malax (confirm birthdate, parents' names, and possibly parents' birth information too). Thank you, Kaisa. This was very helpful! I was not able to find these digitized records before. I think this Simon Erik is probably the same person I am researching, because his family here also knew him as Simon. There are some inconsistencies, but that's what makes genealogy interesting!
