Hi.

I am looking for the birth of Anna Maria Törnquist in Tammerfors/Tampere 02-02-1885.
Her parents: Johannes and Erika.

That is all I know, and hope somebody can and will help me :)

I have tried http://hiski.genealogia.fi​/hiski/34st8w?en+0543 (http://hiski.genealogia.fi/hiski/34st8w?en+0543) but it is only 1844-1864.

Hello!

A quick reply that may not be 100% correct but I could not find the data for year 1882 for Tampere on the www.sukuhistoria.fi pages either. On the web archives of the national Arkivverket, it is possible to find the married couples from Tampere until year 1882 in case you would need this information for Anna Maria's parents (and if they got married in Tampere...).

That's annoying, I just discovered the same when I chose Swedish as the main language. The list of all parish archives can be seen through the below link:

Choose I Eb vihittyjen luettelo to see the marriages.

Then you get to a page like this and can see the different pages - until 1882. The old documents are written in Swedish :-)

You would have to visit the Hämeenlinna archives, in Finland, I think..

Since You have an exact date of birth, you might request the Tampere parish central register for the information on the parents.
