Einari & Määrta Soininen

Hi everyone!
I'm trying to locate ancestors on my grandfathers side, which seems almost impossible..
My grandfathers name was Onni Juhani Soininen, born 1937-04-05 in Kuopio.
I know Kuopio is big, but I don't know any exact location I'm afraid.

I know that his parents names were Einari and Määrta, that's all I know!

Can anybody PLEASE help me? I have been trying for years, but I don't understand Hiski or the other sites you have in Finland.
Would really appreciate it!

Hi,

since the date you have is so "fresh" you should contact the Kuopio parish and ask for information. You are not going to find it anywhere else. (Unless his parents were not members of ev. luth. church, in which case you should contact the civil registry.)

The Soininen family book is published recently. Maybe your grandfather can be find there.

That's right, I heard of the book a couple of days ago from a man who saw my query here :)
And it's right, my grandfathers family is published in the book!
